Well, I change my background a lot. I hate having to copy the background to ~/.e/backgrounds and restarting.. So I made a perl script that can run from the command line if you do not have Gtk::Perl or uses Gtk::Perl if you have that. If you do not have Gtk::Perl .. not to worry it'll function as a shell script.

e.pl /home/muhri/backgroundname.jpg

is how you use it if you do not have Gtk::Perl installed. If you have it installed then the GUI is easy enough and needs no explanation.

Download the script here

Then: mv e.txt e.pl; chmod +x e.pl .. and you should be ready to roll. Enjoy.
